Important Information For Our Owners and Guests

COVID-19: What You Need To Know

All our parks are temporarily closed until further notice. We understand that this is a very uncertain and worrying time for everyone. We are following Government guidelines and will be monitoring the situation, and will continue to update this page a necessary. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these very difficult times.

Please be aware that due to recent Government announcements our phonelines and email are extremely busy at present and we are working with a limited number of staff. However, rest assured that we will contact everyone in turn as soon as we can. Please refer to the FAQs below for the best way to get in touch with us.

We will also be writing to all our owners to provide them with the latest updates from our parks. Owners will receive these letters shortly.

Unfortunately, all our parks are now temporarily closed by law for holiday home-owners and holiday guests until further notice.

We are aiming to manage your booking in the way that suits you most and when you are ready. We’re offering all guests who have holidays during the close down period the option of:

  1. Make your decision later. When you are ready, call or email us to book any time in the next 12 months. Plus, as a thank you, you will receive a £50** voucher to spend on park during your stay.
  2. Email us with your choice of a new break at any of our parks for any date, valid for 12 months from the date you were due to arrive. Plus, as a thank you, you will receive a £50** voucher to spend on park during your stay.
    • If your chosen break is cheaper, we will refund the difference
    • If your chosen break is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference

It could take us up to 28 days to get back to you. As you can appreciate, we are experiencing a high number of enquiries and emails and of course we need to support our team members who we are also looking after at this time. Our goal is to prioritise immediate breaks coming up. We would, however, ask that only those travelling in the next 14 days call us at this time so that we can prioritise these bookings.

We hope you understand that this decision has been made in the interest of your wellbeing and that of our team. We look forward to reopening and for us all to enjoy our holidays again.

** Offer only applies to customers who have booked a holiday directly with Coastfields and not through any third party booking agent. Offer does not apply to touring caravan holidays.

Yes, bookings can be moved to a later date…. don’t stop dreaming! Whilst life in lockdown is challenging, we can all look ahead to better times. Fun and laughter will fill our holiday parks once again and amazing memories will be made once more…

So don’t cancel, postpone your stay and help protect our tourism industry. We miss you all, but for now, stay home, stay safe and come back later.

We are currently taking holiday bookings from 4th July 2020 via our online booking platform and this is our preferred option whilst we operate with only a small team, to protect our staff. Alternatively, please call 01754 872592 (option 1) and one of our team will assist you.

Our team are continuing to work remotely, and will be contacting as many guests as possible that are due to arrive over the coming weeks up to and including 3th July.

Due to the unprecedented amount of calls we are asking guests to email the following details of the booking to the email address that has been set up for this difficult and worrying period.

Email us at customerrelations@coastfieldsleisureltd.co.uk with your enquiry and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible.

Could we ask that all guests due to arrive after 3th July to not contact us at this time, this will enable us to continue with the imminent guest arrivals that we need to service. Don't Cancel, Postpone. Thank You For Staying at Home

All our parks are now temporarily closed by law for all holiday home owners and holiday guests until further notice.

Our team have been to all current holiday home plots across our parks and asked those still on site to return to their primary domicile. We would like to apologise to everyone for this disruption and thank our park teams for their continued support in this challenging time.

Our parks remain closed by law and this does not conform with government guidance on travel for exercise. On sites with barriers, barrier cards have been disabled and other sites are gated and locked for security purposes.

We are following the government guidance issued on March 23rd and the further measures announced on May 10th.

We would like to apologise to everyone for this disruption and thank our park teams for their continued support in this challenging time.

We understand that you may be concerned about your property at a time like this. Whilst all our parks and venues remain closed by law, security barriers or gates are in place to help to prevent unauthorised access. Please rest assured that we are carrying out regular security patrols to ensure that all sites remain as safe as possible. We ask for your support at this time by only calling parks for emergency reasons only. Should there be anything at all that needs reporting about your holiday home or seasonal tourer we will of course contact you direct.

If you are concerned about appliances that may be left on, please email customerrelations@coastfieldsleisureltd.co.uk with plot details and the nature of your concern and we will endeavour to attend to your holiday home as soon as we are able. Please bear in mind that we only have a small team operating both on phones and on parks, so please be patient. We will do our best.

As soon as we are able to re-open our parks, we will advise owners via the usual channels. We would also advise you to check the Gov.UK website for the most up-to-date information: gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public.

We will update this notice as and when Government advice changes.

We can appreciate the concerns that all customers will be experiencing through these unprecedented times.

At Coastfields our priority has been to concentrate on implementing and enforcing government guidelines to protect owners, holidaymakers and our wonderful team of staff alike. We’re sure our owners will support our actions and share our concerns.

We are also continuing as much as possible, with a small dedicated team, to maintain parks and keep our parks and your caravans as safe and secure as we are able ready for when we can welcome you back to our parks.

Some of our owners are asking what will happen about ground rents and the truth is it is too early to give a definitive answer , we also have no idea how long we are going to have to close our parks for. Until this becomes known and in the meantime, we will of course be considering many options as new guidance emerges and we work along with trade representatives and local authorities to try and ensure that the tourism industry receives the support it needs at this difficult time for businesses everywhere.

Please be assured that we will be doing everything we can to find a solution that works for everyone.
