Guide to the best beaches in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire boasts a magnificent coastline, with dozens of beaches all just waiting to be explored.
Whether you’re the sort of person who loves lying back and soaking up the sun or you just want somewhere you and your kids can build the perfect sandcastle, there’s a beach in Lincolnshire for you!
Handily, many of our Lincolnshire holiday parks are located just a skimming stone’s throw from the coast, so you’re never far from the beach! But, with so many beaches nearby, which ones should you visit?
To help you decide we’ve put together a guide to some of the region’s best beaches…
Skegness Beach
Arguably one of the best (and most popular) beaches in Lincolnshire – and with good reason. Here you’ll find a large sandy beach with lots to see and do. Enjoy attractions, amusements and even donkey rides! Stay at our North Shore Holiday Centre to enjoy access to this beach
Cleethorpes beach
Head up the coast to North Lincolnshire and spend some time at this vibrant coastal resort, just a short distance from Grimsby. Here you can a huge sandy beach that, like Cleethorpes, is home to amenities, activities and donkey rides.
Chapel St Leonards Beach
A sand and shingle beach on a popular stretch of the Lincolnshire coast, Chapel St Leonards beach is only a short walk from the resort of the same name. It’s great for swimming and days out with the kids. It’s also great for walking, with the beaches stretching for miles in both directions. Stay at our Merryfield & Sandfield Parks to enjoy easy access to this beach.
Anderby Beach
Located between Chapel St Leonards and Skegness in the south and Mablethorpe in the north is Anderby. It’s a huge beach (and one of our favourites), backed by dunes in some areas. It is unspoilt and untouched in parts, making it a great place to get away from it all the tourist attractions and amusements.
Mablethorpe Town Beach
Mablethorpe is a lovely little town on the coast and its main sandy beach offers a wide variety of activities, including activities to hire. Stay at Grange Leisure Park to easily enjoy this beach
Ingoldmells Beach
Hugely popular (and with good reason), Ingoldmells beach lies at the heart of this busy resort. It’s a great spot for swimming or walks on the beach, plus there’s loads of amenities nearby. It is unusual in the sense that dogs are allowed on part of the beach all year round, so a great choice if you plan to bring your pooch with you! Stay at Coastfields Holiday Village to enjoy easy access to this beach
